Resume Update
May 30, 2009
I updated my resume recently to include my current position with Build-A-Bear Workshop on it. It's a fun place to work while I continue my search in the gaming industry. I also changed the format of it, although the information still remains the same. As always, you may download my resume in both .doc and .pdf formats on the Contact page.

Again, thanks for your interest and I hope to have another update soon!

Demo Reel Updates and New Animation
May 7, 2009
Told you it wouldn't be long before another update! Today, I added a new animation on the site featuring the dachshund model I just finished. You can view this new animation on the animations page.

Also, as promised, I updated both of my demo reels today with the new model and new animation on their respective reels.

Anyway, that's all I have for today. With any luck, you can expect to hear from me again real soon.

Dachshund Model
May 5, 2009
Another Model! Will these constant updates ever cease? Not likely... (at least, not until someone decides to hire me!)

My latest model is a dachshund, modeled after my parent's dog, Scarlett. You can expect to see quite a bit more content soon featuring her also. You can find her under the models section of my site with a update to my demo reel soon to follow.

New Tom Servo Model and Midsummer Night's Kiss - Male Game Model Textures Update
April 20, 2009
I added a new model to the site today - Tom Servo from Mystery Science Theatre 3000! Like my last two modeling additions, he is modeled in the style of a game character.

In addition to this new model, I have also updated the textures on the Midsummer Night's Kiss - Male Game Character Model. Both of these new site additions can be found on the Models section of my site. An update to my modeling demo reel will follow shortly.

Midsummer's Night Kiss - Male Game Model
April 10, 2009
I added a new model to my demo reel today. I am still working on the textures, so it is currently still a work-in-progress peice. I wanted to get it online before the weekend so that I could have something new for recruiters to look at. It is the second character from the "Midsummer's Night Dream" piece by my friend Katie Hazzard. Like the previous one, he is intended to be in the style of a video game character model.

Major Website Design Changes
March 30, 2009
I'm sure you noticed that I've almost completely changed around the areas of my site. I have now divided my animation and models into two different pages and have seperate demo reels for each. Also, I combined the About and Contact sections into one page. If you have any questions about the new design, or find any broken links, please email me.

Midsummer's Night Kiss - Female Game Model
March 29, 2009
I uploaded my latest modeling project tonight. It is based on a digital drawing entitled "Midsummer's Night Kiss" done by my close, personal friend Katie Hazzard. I purposely kept this low-poly with the intention to show it to the local game studios here in Seattle. The model can be found under "Models" in the 3D Work section. I will also be making updates this week to my demo reel and offer two downloadable reels on my site: one for character animation and another for character modeling.

About Update
March 17, 2009
I felt like my About page needed a bit of tweaking, so I rewrote this section to highlight the key points in my artistic career. If you're interested to know more about little ol' me (or my artistic accomplishments, at least), stop on over and have a gander at it.

And on a side note, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy St. Patrick's day!

MooM Animations and Disney Art
February 25, 2009
More updates! I think this is the most I've updated my site in years. Hopefully I'll have a steady flow of updates for the next few weeks.

Today, I added a series of brand new animations to my 3D Work page. It's still a bit rough and I'm working on the third animation to go with this series using the MooM character.

Also, I decided that my Disney art needed an update, so I added some of my most recent Disney drawings on the 2D Work page.

Major Updates
February 24, 2009
I made some incredibly huge updates to the site today, even though it may not look like it at first. The major change is in the viewer for my animations. Instead of using Quicktime player, which had long loading times, my videos are now all hosted by YouTube. I hope this change cuts down on loading times for people, even if the quality of the videos is a bit more compressed.

As a side note to any interested employers out there, if you would like to see higher resolution videos of my work, please ask and I can provide those for you still.

Oh, and some updates to the links page as well. Thanks and enjoy!

Demo Reel Links and Update to About Me Section
February 11, 2009
I found a better compressor and now have a more reasonably sized demo reel online to download! You can find it on the front page when you first visit my site as well as on the Contact page. I'll make it even easier and put a link to it here too!

Also, since my life has changed so much in the last several weeks, I thought it was time to update my
About Me page.

Skedaddle Back to Seattle
January 07, 2009
Some of you may have heard or already know by now that I am moving back to Seattle in February! I am really excited and can't wait! Ever since I left Washington in September 2007, I have missed it dearly. In preparation for my move and job search, I have revised my resume.

Home Sweet Home
April 11, 2008
I've been back home for a few months now. I have since returned to my old job at Disney. I missed everyone here and am happy to be back, but I still want to return to the west coast one day in the future, preferably somewhere in the northwest, like Seattle, Portland, or even Vancouver.

Today, I changed the format of my Links page, and linked to a few of my friends' sites. I also updated my resume and my About Me section.

Leaving Los Angeles
February 8, 2008
I have recently made the decision to move back to Orlando, FL - my hometown. I have been in Los Angeles for nearly 6 months now and still have not had any luck in finding a job. I cannot afford to stay here any longer. I am moving so that I can work on my portfolio and continue my studies while in the presence of my family and friends.

I updated my resume today. I think the newer version is much more descriptive of my professional experiences and past job duties. Please check it out if you get a chance.

Fruit Follies: Gather for Him Models
January 15, 2008
Today, I added a three new turn arounds of some character models that I did at American Animation Studios for a film similar to VeggieTales called Fruit Follies. I added them underneath the American Animation Studios section of the newly-renamed 3D Work area.

Daffy Duck Walk Cycle
November 10, 2007
I have been spending the last several days testing my Daffy Duck rig before I start the animation I was originally planning to do with him. One of the animation tests I did is a walk cycle. If you'd like to take a gander, I went ahead and threw it up on my animations page.

Splash Page + American Animation Studios News
October 30, 2007
I decided to get rid of the news section as my front page in favor of a more professional design. You can only access this page now from my homepage.

In other news, I found out last night that American Animation Studios is now closing. I am sad for all of my colleagues. I know they will all pull through - they are such a talented group of people. I am thankful I had the opportunity to work with all of them.

Disney Art Added
October 26, 2007
I gained so much drawing experience while working at Disney, yet I recently realized that I didn't have any samples on my site. Therefore, I added some new images in my portfolio section to showcase some of the characters that I perfected while studying under the Disney Design Group. I also added some fan art that I did just for fun.

American Animation Studios Clips Added
October 20, 2007
I captured a few shots that I animated in Patrick Henry: Quest for Freedom at American Animation Studios. I went ahead and threw them up on the Animations page. Enjoy!

Professional References Added
October 16, 2007
I added a new feature to the site so that I could post all the wonderful recommendations I've received from people I've worked with over the years. The link to read them can be found on the Contact page. If you would like any of my references' contact information, please ask. I am a bit weary to make it readily available on the internet, as I only have their permission to give their contact information to company recruiters.

Demo Reel and Model Added
October 12, 2007
I figured I should probably put a single demo reel file on this site, that showcases the best of my animations. Needless to say, it's much larger compared to all the other movie files. I also went ahead and rendered out a turnaround of the model from the current project I am working on. This project stars Daffy Duck. My goal is to accurately dipict him in a short animation. Both of these videos can be found on my animations page.

Links Page Updated
September 17, 2007
I added a few of my friends and colleagues to my links page today. If you're one of my professional friends and I haven't added you, please let me know and I'll link to your page. Please also provide me with a graphic from your site, or I will be forced to grab a screen capture and make one for you.

I'm preparing for my move to California this week, so I may not update for a while. Rest assured, I have a few recent models that I'm going to add in the weeks to come.

All-New 3D Animation Website!
September 8, 2007
Well, after nearly a three-year hiatus, I've finally decided to redesign this website to showcase all the 3D animations I made while I was in school. Don't worry, all the old Flash cartoons are still here too, Under the "Classics" link. It's going to take me a while to get everything up and running perfectly again, so please let me know if you find any broken links or things that need to be fixed! Thanks!
