Nutmeg was the final character I added to the Classic Schmitty's Toons! canon. I think he was a turning point for me, both as an animator and as a character artist. As you will see in each Nutmeg short, I am demonstrating more advanced animation techniques, such as overlap, follow through, weight, force, squash, and stretch. I honestly think he marks the turning point for me and he is a great segue into what you see on the rest of Schmitty's Toons! today. In this short, the goal was to show both force and weight. What better way to do that than with a giant acorn?
